Since I first startedpainting my own nails at home a few years ago, I have gotten into a pretty good groove with perfecting my technique and have found some awesome tools to help me get the look I’m going for.

- A good nail file is key for shaping and smoothing your nail before you paint them. Or you can use anelectric nail file if you really want to do it right!
- Cuticle care is crucial and make such a different in the overall look of your nail, as well as how long they last between grow-outs.
- I love to use a good nail conditioner before I put polish on, and if you happen to have ridges in your nails, a ridge filler will ensure you get a smooth finished look.
- As for putting the polish on your nails, this handy tool makes it SO much easier to control where the polish is going. It’s crazy how much it helps!
- Polish cleanup is inevitable, so this brush is super handy to have on hand for the perfect finished manicure.
- And lastly, a top coat is KEY. It helps your polish last longer and makes your manicure look super professional!
