Spoiler alert: we are living in Chicago for the month of September and I can’t wait for fall fashion to officially take over my closet! I feel like there is just something so quintessentially ‘fall’ about Chicago. Maybe because it’s in the Midwest? Whatever it is, I feel like leaving the hot, humid weather of Charleston behind has me very excited for these next few weeks. Also, is it too much to ask for that the leaves start to change before we leave?!
My favorite way to get into the spirit of fall is by adding in plenty of layering pieces into my wardrobe. Flannels, jackets, and sweaters might possibly be my love language (who’s with me?!), so this is one of my favorite seasons to shop for. And since I am finally getting into the spirit of all things fall, I have been on the hunt for some cute, cozy sweaters that are also easy on the wallet.
My ideal fall wardrobe includes a variety of styles that can work for a lot of different types of adventures including date nights, city strolls, post-workouts, running errands, and more. Is that too much to ask for? I think not!J
