I know the retail world would have us believe that Fall is imminent, but being in Charleston in August has me firmly still in the summer camp. The hot and humid temperatures here definitely call for plenty of breezy, summer dresses so I rounded up my favorites in case you are still sticking to summer with your wardrobe, too! Dresses are a total staple for me because it seems like you are more dressed up than normal, and put in my effort than you typically would but they are the easiest thing to just throw on and look put together. You don’t have to put any additional thought into putting an entire outfit together. Easy peasy-I love that!
Whether you are heading out to meet a friend for brunch, a work meeting, or a fun date night, dresses are one of my most reached for items in my closet. I love having a variety of dresses on hand, even with my traveling lifestyle, ones that I can easily dress up or down with sneakers or sandals, offer plenty of comfort, and particularly in the south, ones that will keep me cool!
Not only are they so cute, but dresses are easy peasy to style! Pair with sneakers for a more edgy and casual style (obviously my top choice), or flats for a more girly cute look! Both options are so cute just depends on your activity or event of the day.
