When it comes to fashion, every summer is defined by a few key trends. And while I am all about staple pieces in my closet (especially with my traveling lifestyle!) there are some trends that are just too good to pass up…
Last year was all about crop tops and biker shorts (which I fully endorse!). This year it is clear that onesies and tennis dresses have our hearts. Not only are these two pieces a comfortable, throw-on type outfit, but they literally pull double duty. You can wear them to the gym, for a walk, playing tennis, and then easily transition to running errands, grabbing lunch with a friend, or a day of exploring, no outfit change required! With my nomadic lifestyle, I live for outfits like this that can be multipurpose, because it just isn’t realistic to think I can keep moving an overflowing closet (and suitcase!) to every city we move to.
Also high on my list of requirements for any apparel purchase I make? Comfort! I love an outfit that is super cute, fun, and trendy, but also comfortable. It’s so easy to dress up these casual outfits too, by just throwing on a button up shirt if you’re a busy gal on the go.
