HELLOOOOOOO from Seattle! We arrived in town from Hawaii last week and immediately realized we went from palm tress to pine trees *real fast*. The city is so different, obviously, but so beautiful in its’ own way! We’ve been spending time exploring little parts of the city like Ballard, Lake Union, Pike Place/Downtown, Belltown, Bainbridge, Queen Anne, Fremont, etc, and hopefully will go out on the water whale watching at some point! These new platform, high top Converse have been my go-to shoe walking all over town. Not only are they cute and trendy (as Gen Z would say), but they’re also super comfortable, and I find they match pretty much any cute outfit. Obviously my go-to is with denim and a white tee, so I wanted to share this closet staple look with you on the blog today.
Honestly, what’s better than denim, a white tee, and sneakers?! Nothing 😉 It’s always my go-to look when I’m running late, having an outfit crisis, or don’t feel like getting into the styling mood one day. Trust me when I say you need these pieces in your closet- they’re staples!
If you haven’t noticed on the streets or at online retailers, platform high tops are having a moment right now! They’re all over the place, in all different colors and patterns, and styled with all types of outfits from dresses to jeans and even skirts. I love that these Converse have a nice, clean, crisp, look and honestly the platform/high top gives me some height which I love! Just be sure to order a 1/2 size down when ordering these Converse. They’re leather too, which is super easy to clean and keep white for Fall/Winter/then into Spring again!
