3 INGREDIENT PROTEIN WAFFLES

CLICK TO SHOP THE POST:

A lot of you that follow me on Instagram just LOVE my “what I ate Wednesday” series that I share weekly! If you’re new around here, you might like it too: I share a detailed food diary of my day every Wednesday, from the second I wake up, until I go to bed and share a day in the life of my eating and drinking! It’s quite intriguing, and I love seeing other people share their food ideas, so I wanted to share as well and the response has been amazing.

With that being said, one of my most FAQ I get is about the protein waffles I make daily. Literally every single day after the gym. They fill me up for hours + are whole, healthy ingredients that have the best macros. Did I mention they take less than 5 minutes to make and devour?! Yeah…

These waffles can easily be turned into a couple pancakes instead, but personally, I’ve been loving this $18 mini-waffle maker I won as a “white elephant Christmas gift” and it’s definitely paid off! It heats up quick and I don’t have to worry about flipping a pancake. So basically my waffles cook themselves 😉

  1. First blend 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup of oats, and 2 eggs in this $30 magic bullet
  2. Pour batter into the mini waffle maker, sprinkle with cinnamon and close. Wait about 3 minutes, open to check + plate waffle numero uno.
  3. Repeat for the rest of the batter… it usually makes 3 mini waffles!
  4. Top with yogurt (I like the brand “two good”), and drizzle with 0 calorie/0 sugar syrup (“walden farms” brand is the best).
  5. Sometimes I like to cut up strawberries or blueberries and put on top as well as some peanut butter!
  6. ENJOY!!!! 🙂

Be sure to tag me on instagram if you make this yummy + healthy recipe! There are so many ways to recreate it and you can really get creative with what you like!

XO
