When I share my day-to-day craziness of a life and busy lifestyle on Instagram stories, I always seem to get a few questions asking “how I manage to get it all done” and “how I do it all”, but most often I get asked what my days look like. First of all, I don’t do it all, I try my very best though! I get stressed and overwhelmed just like everyone else in their busy lives! I wrote this blog post about how I balance a full time teaching job and a full time blog over a year ago so I figured it was time to update it since a few things have changed…

As of right now, this is what my days look like. Of course, things change, life happens, and that’s ok. But I try to stick to a schedule as closely as I can- what can I say… I’m a creature of habit! So here we go:

Monday-Friday:

4:40 Wake Up

5:00 Get to the gym right when it opens. Workout for one hour!

6:00 Head home to shower + get ready for work. I take my time drinking a cup of coffee, making a nice protein filled breakfast, and just sit before the crazy begins.

7:00 Leave for school. I have a 45 minute commute! I love listening to these podcasts.

8:00-3:30 School (During recess/lunch I try to squeeze in answering some emails, sending out invoices, locking down collaborations, etc.)

4:30 Either cycle class, yoga class, OR run errands, grocery shop, return a few things downtown, go to dentist/doctor appointments, etc.

6:00 Dinner time. Trader Joe’s saves me with quick, easy, and healthy meals (see my printable Trader Joe’s shopping list + grocery haul)

7:00 Neighborhood walk is one of my favorite ways to unwind from the crazy day. I either make a couple phone calls or listen to podcasts/music.

8:00 Finish up blog posts, emails, edit photos, etc.

10:00 Shower + bedtime (finally)!

….wow, that was exhausting just typing it out! I’m really looking forward to summer where I won’t be spread so thin! 

Saturday-Sunday (If I’m not traveling, this is what they typically look like. I’ve been gone a lot lately, so I haven’t been able to slow down one bit, but when I’m home, this is my routine):

7:00 Wake up and drink coffee in bed in peace and silence.

8:00 Workout Class (either hot yoga or cycle)

9:00 Brunch or make a big breakfast at home

10:00 Shower + get ready for whatever I have going on that day

11:00-7:00* Typically now I will start: taking blog photos, writing blog posts, invoicing brands, reaching out to brands, filming instagram stories ahead of time to post throughout the week when I’m busy, ordering new clothes, planning trips for new content, organizing collaborations, etc. The list goes on and on… the reason being: I try and do as much as I can blogging-wise so I am not so stressed M-F!

*I rarely am able to fit in time with friends/family, but if there is an event or a special occasion, I will always make time to attend or spend time together!

Anddddd, that’s that friends! I hope that was helpful or insightful in some way!  Because summer is quickly approaching, my routine will be changing again (…but this time with exciting news)! I can’t wait to share all that I have planned with you, EEEEK! Stay tuned!
