Last week marked the official FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, and I must admit, I definitely had the first day jitters. I can’t even believe how quickly summer flew by, but I’m thankful for the time away traveling, and I feel ready to get back to my usual routines!
Now to the fun stuff: back to school shopping! I remember growing up my mom and I would spend hours shopping for new shoes, clothes, a new backpack, the list goes on. Not only were all of my new items exciting, but it was such great girl bonding time and definitely memories that I cherish. I even remember some of my “first day of school” outfits all the way back to 2nd grade, my favorite year.

Fast forward 25 years and I’m now an elementary school teacher and still shopping for back to school clothes which means the fun hasn’t stopped yet.
