I recently had a sunset beach picnic (outfit is here) and enjoyed this glass of vino in the warm sand. The colors of the sky were absolutely stunning (which can be seen here), and it made me even more grateful than I already am, to call this beautiful place home. The sense of peace and calmness that comes from the sound of crashing waves onto the shore is always something I’ve cherished.

There’s something about freshly washed sheets and a comforter right out of the dryer that makes me want to light candles, crawl in bed, get cozy, and read/journal, no matter what the temperature is or what time of day it is. I think my bed has become one of my favorite, most comfortable, and calming places to be. It’s my little sacred space. Make yours a special place too.
