The other night my mom invited me to head to the beach for a Summer sunset picnic. How can you say no to that?! Especially when your mom provides the yummy snacks and delicious vino! Anyway, I’m trying to absorb Summer as much as possible before school (I’m a 2nd grade teacher) starts up again in August. Living in a beautiful city where it’s sunny and 75 year round means I’m fortunate enough to have picnics any time of the year, but there’s something specifically special about a Summer picnic, on the beach, during sunset. Take advantage of where you live, and get out and explore to watch the sunset with someone you love! Don’t forget your sunscreen…or wear a floppy sun hat like I did 🙂
